About Us...

The Countryman is situated in the small village of Bolam just off the A68 between Darlington and West Auckland. Over the last seven years, Paul and Alison Stabler have built up a fantastic reputation for offering quality and value. We offer a large menu, with a good selection of meals from sizzlers to steaks to vegetarian. We also run many special offers throughout the week such as our popular 2 for 1 from £9.95, available every day and evening (excluding Sunday lunch).

If you're planning a Wedding, Christening, Birthday in fact any kind of event or function, we have a private room for up to 100 people, whether you want a buffet for 25 people or a private carvery for 100 people, and then a disco to finish, we can help

We also have a Caravan & Camping Site (members of Caravan & Camping Club only) The site is open all year. We also have a large outdoor children's play area
